It is the time of the week! Today I have decided to shine a light on Collars! A pretty cool band! Since the first submission I have recieved I simply fell in love with them. This indie punk style by them is really catchy, always groovy and hey trust me you can sit without moving when you listen to their music!

About The Music!

The Collars really stand out of the indie punk scene. Great catchy music and somehow you simply get a good mood when you listen to them. In their latest album “Clyde” you can explore a wide range of their music. You have there some really great punk rockers or slower ones which you even could claim as a ballad! No matter what style they use there is this Collars sound. I think thats one of the biggest achievement you can reach. You sound like yourself and don’t have to say we sound like this or that band. The Collars made it!
You know how much I love punk music. It has been my frist love in music. The first concert I have visited was a punk concert! And heck the Collars made me remember once again why I love punk so much!

My Favorite Song! Maybe?

For me as a music lover it is always difficult to pick a favortie song. It mostly depends on the mood or what weather it is outside. You love a certain song more when it is sunny outside or you need rain to have the right mood for a song. Last but not least I mostly love the entire work of a band/artist. The entire work stands out for me.
Most times my favorite song of a band is the very first song I have heard by the band. It reminds me always the good feeling to explore a new great band. With the Collars it is the same for me! It is “Hey Lizzie, Lay It On Me” A cool catchy and a bit slower song by them.
