We Start At The Top 10

Nine Year Sister

Well what can I say about Jennie and Emma what I haven’t told you already.. Let me think. When I discovered them I really was mostly only into Punk or Metal music. It was the start of my Indie-Scene discovery and I saw a pretty cool album cover by them. I listened to their music and had my first ever “Wow!” moment. The voices, the music, it simply made me forget everything around me. This mix of the different sing voices is simply yeah heavenly. I am glad listeners agree with me! Shows now and then my taste in music isnt bad.
Now around 6 years later Nine Year Sister are 3 times Artist of the Year on Radio TFSC, I am still in love with their music and I am always excited to see a new submission by them!! Oh and don’t forget Emma invented the peanut capucino!
I believe those are the things I haven’t told you so far. Now time to take a listen to our Artist Of The Year 2024!

Mikalyn

Our 2nd Artist Of The Year 2024. Yes she is also the Artist Of The Year. I told you a lot about Mikalyn too. Let me try something new. She is also, like Nine Year Sister, one of the first artists I have discovered. Listening to her music was the next Wow moment. A very cool style, a great voice and simply great to calm down or get to a better mood. Every single new release by her got me excited. One of those artists where you simply can’t wait for new music. I guess you know what I mean!

Moonlight Eclipse

On spot number 3 are those so talented young guys and girls called Moonlight Eclipse. I recieved the first submission back at the end of 2023/begin 2024. I listened to it and got totally blown away by their rock style. I couldn’t believe how young they are. I thought wow they must rock for years and years. It is really simply great sometimes rough and sometimes balladic rock music! The latest new releases are the next step for them. I am pretty sure they will rock for a long time and excite us and many more people song by song!
Now time to take a listen to Moonlight Eclipse (I picked the pretty cool long one)

Sadie Fine

The second artist on the shared spot number 3! Sadie! If you have listened to TFSC Evening shows now and then, you might know I compare her vocals with Amy Winehouse. Really she has this touch in her voice. I love to see her getting more attention, getting bigger in the music scene. Playing concert and impressing people. On top you can listen to Sadie and her dad once a month on the station with their show “Live From The Detox Studio”! There you can hear what a great and funny person she is!

IX

On spot number 5 you can find one cool artist from Sweden. Seeing her up there made me pretty happy. One of those artists which create music, which might be an unusual style but hey so cool. Another thing which makes her music very interesting, you never know with what she comes up this time. Opening a submitted song by her is like a surprise box. Always a different style, sometimes spooky, sometimes quiet or acapella but always a masterpiece!!
You should listen to her music as much as possible, here is one of my favs by her

Charley Young

Number 6! Our lovely Charley. Great sense of humour, great music, always good for having a laugh and oh my god her dogs! Ok, thats a weird start of talking about an artist. But really this mix makes her a simply pretty cool artist you should listen to. Another great point to listen to her: Her videos. They are done professional like everything of her music. Always worth to check both the music and the videos! Here one of those cool videos

Allison Leah

On spot number 7! An artist which made me fall in love with her music at the very first seconds of her first submission. I listened to the first tones of it and I was simply blown away. When she started to sing I was completely blown away. Since then (also more than 5 years already) every single submission by her did this to me. Allison is also one of those artists which have a wide range in music styles/genres which makes me totally excited!
But now time for some music!

MorganX

On spot number 8 you can find the 2nd best Aussie in our countdown. And what an Aussie. She totally rocks it! Great guitar play. Perfect to rock out. It might be a bit harder for some but I totally love it. Always worth for headbanging session. Morgan really knows how to create amazing rock music. I always get excited when she posts something on her socials like “Soon new music” and can’t wait for a submission mail by her then. Better take your time and keep listening to MorganX!

Portobello Express

On spot number 9 I have to be careful what I write. Betty, the front woman, can be dangerous. She wants to burn me, very often, and trust me I have been scared now since I interviewed her and Patrick.
So here are the nice words: Portobello Express is an amazing rock band. Great bass play, great lead guitar and what an amazing voice! Betty has this rockish voice you just want to listen to for hours! Plus I have heard somehow Betty got influenced by a (lets say) pretty cool radio station owner for her last songs lyrics. It is a must to listen to them!
Ok thats enough nice words for now. I want to be myself again. Just listen to them, it is worth it. You will love Portobello Express. Amazing rockers! Here it is a cool song!

Fendahlene

On spot number 10 is a very cool rock band! Fendahlene! Their name is the most complicated part (I won’t tell you how many times I had to delete and rewrite it). They are a must heard. Simply pure amazing rock music. If you follow me long enough you know how important the bass play is for me. Fendahlene is a 11/10 at the bass play. I love it very very much. It adds perfectly to the rest of it and creates a eargasm for rock music!
So here is my fav song by them!
