Here we are again! 11 questions for another pretty cool artist! Actually another very fun convo here! So enjoy the read here!

Lets start with the musical part!
1. Do you have a favorite song by yourself?
That’s probably the toughest question of all to start! I am always very hard on myself so it is difficult to pick one that I even “like” never mind a favourite. But, because it’s you I will pick one Oli. I think I will go with “Surroundings Familiar” only because of the story. The lyrics mean a lot to me because of all the family members we had pass away in the last few years. A close #2 would be “Company Man”, the song I wrote for my story of my father’s life. In any music, it’s the lyric I am drawn to first.
2. Is there any instrument you always wanted to play but havent learned it so far?
Yay! From a tough one to an easy one. My grandmother played piano professionally. My mother was a wonderful pianist. I wish I would have stuck to my lessons as a child and learned the piano. It is by far my favourite instrument. I have even hired the amazing Bob Stagg from Nashville to play piano on my new album which will have more piano than ever.
3. If you could have the chance to go on a world tour or a local tour, which one would you pick?
I’ve done local Canadian tours back in the “Happenstance” days. I really miss that band. I have the chance to do some eastern Canada tours this summer and hopefully I will be able to do so. But to answer your question – I would love to go on a world tour. Hmmm…. Maybe Sir Oli should set up a European tour for some RadioTFSC artists? ????
Thats a pretty cool idea Brian!! We will see!
Now the non musical part!
4. Winter or summer?
Neither! Autumn in Canada, especially here in the east is fabulous. We call it “sweater weather”. Not too hot, not too cold. And the colours? Just unbelievable.
5. Irish coffee or coffee?
Why can’t I have both? Seems reasonable… and what about Spanish coffee? Any coffee with a little extra “something” seems like the right way to start the day. Oh, and a doughnut please.
6. Your favorite meal?
I am a huge foodie so I can’t pin down any one particular meal but here’s two answers:
Any meal that is shared with good company
Any meal with a good glass of red wine
Both at the same time… ????
7. Tell us something about Canada you totally love
Everything! I have had the pleasure of travelling to many countries and all over the USA. I also have travelled extensively throughout Canada. This vast country has so many different landscapes and the people in each region are so warm, friendly and welcoming. It’s no wonder Canadians are welcomed anywhere they travel in the world. I feel blessed to be living in such a wonderful country.
8. If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?
Sleep so that people wouldn’t notice I’m not paying attention (don’t know what I would do about the snoring though…)
9. Please end this sentence. For a perfect day, I need…
Sleep. And coffee. And maybe wine.
10. Your favorite place to be to totally relax
Anywhere beside the water. I grew up by the ocean so just being beside a body of water instantly calms me.
11. If you could ask Oli a question, what would it be?
The biological (eukaryotic animal) cell maintains itself in an intermediate position between a solid and a fluid. It deforms over time upon mechanical loading (unlike a solid), but it also recovers some deformation if you remove the loading (unlike a fluid). It also doesn’t exhibit one or several time constants of viscoelastic deformation, unlike the spring–dashpot assemblies that we typically use to model viscoelasticity. Instead, it maintains this intermediate “complex fluid” behavior over many time scale orders of magnitude (e.g., 10 ms to 100 s). How, and why?
***I’ll bet no-one ever asked you that before did they?????
Yes you are right. No-one asked that before ! But I would like to send this question to my old biology teacher, because I have sooooo no clue. Or what about lets drink a beer together and forget this question???
