The Changes Of Twitter

Since Twitter has a new owner you can see a lot of discussions about leaving Twitter or some have already left Twitter. There are a lot of different possibilties now. Stay, buy the blue tick, get more seen? Stay the same as usual? Or discover new social medias. It is really a lot to think about.

Mastodon or others?

Would it be good to go to another social media? Is it even a new chance to reach out to fans? Maybe even to get out of a bubble? I personally believe it might be a big chance to get out of this bubble and meet fans.
Since we started an account on Mastodon and slowly start to post there I have notice a gain of listeners. Also I have seen some non artists start to follow or simply like a post. Thats a good sign. So yes it could be a chance for the artists too. Just dont try to copy the tactics of Twitter there. I doubt it would work like that. Every SM has its own way to work and I would say a lot of pro and cons.

Our way in SM

We will try to stay as active as we have been already on Facebook and Instagram. With Twitter I have no clue. I will simply wait and see how everything will turn out. If we get less seen the amount of time we spend there will get lower. Mastodon might be a good place for the stories. And everything else we will see!
